These are some ideas on what to wear for carnaval in San Francisco. There will be lots of dancing but don't forget it's SF so it will get cold so don't forget a jacket. High waisted shorts, colored skinnies, black and white, bold colors, tailored shorts, gladiator sandals, cute flats, comfy sneakers, even comfy thin wedges if you're a heelanista. Cross body bags are a must for keeping things safe without worry (remember keep what u take minimal. Money, ATM, ID, phone, charger, lipgloss should suffice)
